Holly,
I really enjoyed reading the posts on your blog; I admit that I had never taken much thought to the way that other countries treat marriage, but analyzing your posts gave me a newfound appreciation for the topic.
I think that you are able to use links and scannable writing techniques effectively, and you have a very compact writing style that is very direct.
Some things that I noticed in reading your blog was that I had a hard time trying to find a distinctive voice in your readings. It came across to me that you were just simply reporting on items and asking questions. Also, some videos can be used to add emphasis to your articles as well.
I found the ‘Government sponsors mass weddings’ post interesting, mainly because I find it rare that the government would intervene on a private matter like that, though it would be helpful as marriage has become very expensive.
I didn’t find any posts that could be improved, but I do wish that a few of them could be longer than they are.
Holly -
I really enjoyed reading your blog. I love your design and layout, and I think you’ve chosen a very interesting topic overall.
I think the strongest aspect of your site is the diversity of your posts. You cover a wide range of issues in a wide range of locations, and I personally found all of your posts to be fascinating. I can truly say that I walked away from each of your posts feeling like I learned something new.
You have also picked some really strong, thought-provoking links and topics - I commend you on your research and chosen articles. I think this is an important blog that draws attention to worldwide matters… people need to hear about these issues.
Great job!
